Nigella Sative L., also known as Black Cumin, is native to Southwest Asia. The seeds are dried and extracted, while others are distilled into essential oils. All are followed by a careful process to best retain the desired components of the grain.
In traditional medicine

Black cumin has so many uses that some herbalists call it “the herb from heaven.” Black cumin is available as essential oil, paste, powder, capsules or extract. It has a rich history of use in traditional systems of medicine such as Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Tibb.
Today, this herb is used across many Arab countries, Asia, Africa and parts of Europe to prevent or treat a variety of diseases.
